PACE ERIN KNOWLES-DONNELLY is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts. She works primarily as a printmaker and textile artist, while also squirrelling away little poems in her cellphone notes. Born and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, she attended Hampshire College where she studied Critical Race Theory and Memory Studies. Her work, both visual and written, deals with themes of haunting, memory, water, and structures of violence- illustrating abstracted manifestations and these physical places as well.
